| ASARCO Mission Mine open pit copper mine 15 miles south of Tuscon, AZ. We took a bus tour and walked through one of the currently non-operational processing facilities. | |
| They use BIG tires at the Mission Mine. This tire, with a value of over $20,000, is from OLDER dump trucks that the mine no longer uses. The NEW trucks are 1.5 million dollar behemoths standing more than 30 feet tall at the cab! (nice shot Annie) |
